Display
PRS-700 has a 6” which also uses the eInk technology. It has a built-in LED reading light so now you can read at night or other low-light situations without bothering others around you.
User Interface
The Sony PRS-700 uses a touch screen display which lets you easily turn pages or navigate through the menus with a brush aof your finger. A stylus pen if is also available. The Reader Digital Book allows you to zoom in and out as well as adjust the text into 5 different sizes. Annotation, highlighting, and search are available using the stylus or the on-screen display.
Storage space
The PRS-700 has 512MB of internal memory which accommodates 350 medium sized ebooks. Additional storage capacity can be added with the Memory Stick Duo media or SD memory cards.
Compatibility
Adobe® PDF, BBeB®, RTF, TXT, JPEG, GIF, PNG, MP3, AAC7. Viewing Microsoft® Word (PC must have Word installed), HTML, and other files requires conversion with supplied software.
Upload eBooks
Upload files through a USB cable. The PRS-700 doesn’t have wireless capability.

The ebook store at Sony and other participating websites have thousands of ebooks. Multiple additional sites offer free ebooks for download and hundreds of thousands of public domain titles are available at Google.
